Dr. Kirtpaul Sandhu

Doctor of Chiropractic

Chiropractic In Motion

Dr. Kirtpaul Sandhu began his journey into becoming a Chiropractor in his early twenties while he was studying Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. He had been suffering from a chronic lower back injury that had never really improved from when he played competitive ice hockey in high school. He was introduced to Chiropractic care and found that it was one of the only things that helped him improve his lower back pain, and kept him going in other aspects of staying fit and pain free. In 2013, Dr. Sandhu graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and soon after left for graduate school in San Jose, California, where he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic.

During his time at Palmer, Dr. Sandhu was apart of the Palmer College of Chiropractic Hockey Team for 3 seasons, as well as the Palmer Basketball team, and participating in many other sports related activities. Dr. Sandhu was also a member of the Palmer Chiropractic Sports Council, which was tailored towards treating athletes from all walks of life with various sports backgrounds throughout the Bay Area. Dr. Sandhu graduated in December 2017 from Palmer and moved back to BC and soon began practicing in the Surrey, British Colombia area. Dr. Sandhu believes in an evidence/research-based approach to treatment in which he uses a variety of techniques like Manual Manipulation, Active Rehabilitation, Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization, Vibration Therapy, Cupping and Shockwave.

Dr. Sandhu is apart of the growing teams at Synergy Rehabilitation, in the Fleetwood location, as well as the The Drip lounge/MediWorks in the South Surrey area. Dr. Sandhu treats patients of all ages and abilities, ranging from young athletes to Crossfit athletes, pre and postnatal mothers, weekend warriors, WorkSafe and ICBC Patients, as well as anyone who is just looking to feel better and be more efficient. Dr. Sandhu’s patient centred approach includes a variety of exercise plans unique to each of his patients. He believes that maintaining personal health with exercise and a proper diet is essential to achieving an improved quality of life.

In his spare time, Dr. Sandhu can be found in a Crossfit gym, playing hockey and basketball, or just being active in other ways, like hiking, traveling, exploring the beautiful west coast, and working on his photography skills.
